Delete Your Account

You can request permanent deletion of your Thriftby account and the personal data associated with it at any time — you do not need to be signed in to the app. Submit the form below (or email privacy@thriftby.com) and we will process your request.

What gets deleted

• Your account profile: name, email, phone number, password, avatar
• Provider profile details (bio, service categories, rate, availability)
• Verification documents and photos you uploaded
• Messages, reviews, and saved preferences
• Booking history that is not subject to a legal retention requirement

What we may retain (and why)

• Transaction and payment records required for tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention obligations — kept for the period required by law, then deleted.
• Anonymized or aggregated data that can no longer be linked to you.
• Records we are legally required to keep (e.g. to resolve disputes or enforce our Terms).

Payment card details are never stored by Thriftby — they are held by Stripe.

How long it takes

We verify that the request comes from the account owner, then permanently delete your data within 30 days. You will receive an email confirmation when your request is received and again once deletion is complete.
